St. Johns County Resources

The Land Development Code contains most of the land development regulations governing the development of property within unincorporated St. Johns County. The following are the Articles contained within the St. Johns County Land Development Code.

The County created a 2025 Comprehensive Plan detailing land use, transportation, housing, infrastructure, coastal conservation, recreation open space, intergovernmental coordination and capital improvement.

The Neighborhood Bill of Rights is an ordinance which gives neighborhood or homeowner associations increased notification, the ability to acquire more information, and the right to increase participation in matters of concern to their communities.

St. Johns County has an excellent site for residents to view maps of various districts and services.  This map site can detail everything from eagle nesting zones to elevation to school attendance zones to traffic analysis and fire hydrant placement. You can also search property records at the County GIs/entitlements/S website.

St. Johns County posts agendas and minutes for County Commissioner and other Board meetings.  Additionally, you can watch streaming or recorded video of meetings.  

The Board of County Commissioners actively engages with residents on issues through meetings, phone calls and emails.
